Welcome to Harry’s Pals! Please read this entire page, because you can help save hundreds of thousands of real life pets per year, without donating any money. I started Harry’s Pals with one goal in mind: donating $1,000,000 to various animal charities around the world, without taking a penny in donations from anyone. My plan is simple: I have created a network of websites, that just by you visiting, I will be able to donate enough money to charity to save hundreds of thousands of animals per year. No matter who you are, you will find at least one website for you!

But remember, this must be a collective effort. I wish more than anything that I could donate $1,000,000 per year to save animals with only 10 people coming to my sites, but the reality is that I need millions of people coming. So I beg you, please check out my sites, come back often, and help spread the word to the world about them. We are going to make a difference, one pet at a time. And I want you to know that this is NOT a gimmick. This is 100% real. I created all of these websites with the intention of donating lots of money to animal charities in Harry’s memory and honor.

Let me tell you about how all of this started. In October, 2002, I went to my local humane society in Miami, Florida, wanting a pet, but not knowing what I would come home with, or whether I would come home with anyone at all, since I was a sophomore in college, living in an apartment that forbade pets, who could barely even afford to care for myself. I ended up in the area that housed all the cats, where there were about 7 grown cats and one kitten. I didn’t care which one I took home, as a matter of fact, I would’ve rathered one of the cats picked me as the owner! The first one I saw was a cute little orange and white tabby kitty, who immediately meowed at me as I passed his mini home. I talked to him for a bit and stuck my finger in his cage, to his tongue’s delight. I was informed that his brother had just been adopted and taken away about an hour earlier, so he was probably very sad. I then attempted to visit the other cats, but every time I turned my back to the kitty, he would incessantly meow at me until I turned back around. This happened about five times, and I finally decided “Fine! I’ll take you home!” Harry was the name they gave him at the humane society, and it fit him so well, I decided to keep it. Little did I know that on that day, I would be making a life altering decision.

Harry grew into one of the greatest cats I’ve ever witnessed (this coming from someone who spent all of his childhood around cats). My love for Harry spawned into a love for all animals. Harry was always there for me, loving me unconditionally, no matter how rough times got. There wasn’t a person in the world who met Harry and didn’t love him. He was a blessing from God and changed my life forever.

Sadly, on Easter Day, 2008, Harry began acting strange. I thought and hoped it was temporary, but it continued the next day. After a week of taking him to five different vets, each of whom gave me different opinions of his condition and sending me through a roller coaster of emotions (some saying he was fine, some saying he wasn’t), I eventually found out he was suffering from cancer, and it had spread to every single organ in his body. The vet said he had about four weeks to live, but would always have flu-like symptoms, and would one day within the next month be in extreme pain and have to be put to rest. I could never live with myself knowing that for selfish reasons, I kept him alive, and let him feel the worst pain any living being could ever perceive, so I made the hardest decision I ever had to make and put him to rest, so that he never had to suffer.

My last visit with Harry was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I remember it like it was yesterday. When he saw me, he was so lively and happy to see me, unaware of what was happening. I didn’t want to let him go, but I had to, so that he could go to Heaven and never feel an ounce of pain. As I type this, I can’t help but cry every tear out that I have in my body. I would give anything to spend one more hour with Harry. Every night I go to bed, I think about Harry, and how much I miss him. But I can always find closure knowing that I made the right decision and gave Harry the best five and a half years a kitty could ever have.

On March 28th, 2008, Harry’s last day, I made the decision to do whatever it took to have Harry’s legacy live on forever. I decided to start a charity, called Harry’s Pals, that I had hoped would eventually donate millions of dollars to animal charities around the world. In my attempts to find reasons why this happened to Harry (and me), I came to the realization that Harry was given to me so I could truly learn how to love animals, and he was taken from me so that both Harry and I could save millions of other animals. That is my goal, and I am going to make it happen, but I need YOUR help.

With the current state of the economy, animals are being hurt more than any other group. People are no longer able to care for their pets, they are taking them back to shelters, and even worse, people are just abandoning them. I went to the same shelter that I met Harry at, and five years ago, there were 8 cats, while now there are about 200. It’s only getting worse. With no one adopting pets, they are not making money and the number of pets in them is growing exponentially. This means there are more mouths to feed, but they are lacking the funds to pay for them. This problem is not going to get better by itself, so that is why I have decided to make a difference, and I hope that all of you can also help.

I have created all the websites discussed below, and every time you use them, I am going to donate money from your visit to animal charities. Please visit them. I promise you I have something that will suit you!

BookMe.com is by far the most convenient and efficient website I have ever created. BookMe is the first website you should go to when searching for sports tickets, concert tickets, flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, and more. With BookMe, you enter the information you would like to search one time, and we automatically find which websites offer the best deals for what you are looking for. After you enter your search information, you can click links to the websites you want to search, and the results automatically appear. These are all the websites (and more) that you would be searching anyway. We do you the favor of bypassing manually to go to each website and entering your search criteria in multiple times. Our research shows that the average BookMe user saves 50 minutes in search time and $92 per ticket booked.

Charity:

And the best part about BookMe is that every time you begin your travel or event search using Bookme, we donate $.01 to $.05 to various animal charities. Our goal is to have 1 million searches per month, which would allow us to donate somewhere around $250,000 per year to charity. But to do this, we need your help to spread the word! I created this website with very limited funding, and certainly don’t have enough money to compete with the big players out there. Therefore, we are going to need word of mouth to carry this website around. If you love our website, help us spread the word! If you don’t love it, well, spread it anyways, because maybe you just have bad taste.

Please help us by making BookMe your first stop when searching for your travel or event ticket needs.

http://bookme.com

vCritters is the universally known as the website that got Harry’s Pals started. I decided to create vCritters with the concept of “adopt and care for our virtual critters so that we can save real critters.” And that is just what we do. On vCritters, you can adopt any virtual critter on the site, name it, customize its color and home, and embed it on your blog, MySpace, Facebook, or any other profile you have. The difference between vCritters and the other virtual pet sites on the net is that with vCritters our pets are life-like. You must come back to the site at least every 48 hours to play with and feed your pet, and if not, they are at risk of passing away. But don’t worry, if you forget to care for them, you can always rush them to the hospital and our veternarians will take good care of them. Going on vacation? Not to worry, you can take your critter to the kennel one time per month.

We are trying to make vCritters into a huge animal lovers network. You can create a profile for yourself and for your virtual critters, you can add friends, send messages to your friends, pet your friends’ critters, play fun games and much, much more.

Charity:

I have created this brilliant system, whereby with all of your help, I believe that I can donate $.50 per member per year to our charity, and in turn save 100,000 pets per year. The key to vCritters is getting huge numbers of visitors to the site. $.50 per visitor may not seem like very much money, but if we have 1,000,000 people coming to the website every single day to care for their pets, that could mean $500,000 donated per year. So we NEED your help. Please visit vCritters.com, adopt one or more pets, come back and take care of them daily, and tell your family and friends! I realize there may be some days that it could seem annoying to have to come to vCritters to take care of your pets, but you have to look at the big picture here… these pets truly are like real pets, because by you taking care of them, you are helping to save real life pets. The average person spends two hours per day online. What if I told you that just by cutting two minutes out of your daily Facebook and MySpace time, you could help save 100,000 animals per year? I sincerely hope that you would choose to help us.

http://vcritters.com

Vidified is the most addicting and hilarious website I have created. If you loved those websites that allowed you to place your head on a dancing elf, this website is for you. The concept is very simple… Visit the site, watch a video, click “upload your face”, follow the instructions, and VOILA! you are a star in a new video.

On Vidified, you can:

- Surprise your family and friends by putting their faces on videos and sending links to them, without telling them what they are about to see,

- Embed videos on your blogs or any social network,

- Send out personalized eCards for any occasion with you or your friends’ face,

- And much more!

I am in the process of creating thousands of videos that you can put your face on! Check back daily for new videos and send them all to your friends.

Charity:

This one is simple. I am trying to monetize the site so I can donate a penny per video that is created and shared with friends. Again, one penny does not seem like a lot by itself, but if 10,000,000 videos are created, that is potentially $100,000 that we can pass along to animal charities. So please check out Vidified.com, create videos for all your friends, embed them on your profiles, and come back daily!

http://vidified.com

TheFockMarket is currently under construction. We are creating the largest fantasy stock market around, in which you can buy and sell (with fake money) literally anything in the world, from celebrities to sports teams to movies to athletes, and even yourself and your friends! You can check out the progress of TheFockMarket below. We are looking to launch this around December 1st, 2008.
